What the app stores
The app stores properties, routines, item actions, times, the person label you choose, notes and optional photographs. Free keeps this information locally. Plus can synchronize selected properties and active sessions through private CloudKit sharing.
Location and schedules
The app requests location only when you configure a saved property or departure automation. It uses region entry and exit events and local routine schedules. It does not retain a movement trail, infer destinations or sell location data.
NFC and Apple Home
The app stores only a hash of an opaque NFC token. It does not log tag payloads. Apple Home accessory bindings stay on each device. Receipts can retain the reported state, reachability and refresh time used for an action.
Live Activities
Active progress can show the property, routine, next item and count. It excludes addresses, coordinates, notes, photographs, tag data and accessory identifiers.
Photographs
Each photograph belongs to a selected item. The app reencodes it, reduces its size and removes image metadata where practical. You choose retention of one, seven, thirty or ninety days. Thumbnails are blurred outside receipt detail by default.
Tracking and advertising
The app contains no advertising SDK, behavioral tracking, third party analytics, remote configuration or advertising identifier use.
Deletion
Deleting local data removes local routines, sessions, receipts, photographs, exports, shared snapshots and the Watch queue. It does not delete owned iCloud data or leave shared properties. Separate actions handle those operations.
