Terms and subscriptions.

Meaning of a receipt

A receipt records that a person said they checked an item. Apple Home can contribute a reported state. The app does not inspect, control or verify a physical lock, appliance or property.

Plus prices

The annual plan is US $14.99 and includes a seven day introductory trial for eligible new subscribers. The monthly plan is US $2.49 and has no trial. Apple localizes prices and taxes.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple subscription settings before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple processes purchases, billing and refunds.

Family Sharing

Apple Family Sharing is not enabled for Is It Locked? Plus. Household sharing inside the app is separate and does not depend on it.

Services and hardware

Notifications, location events, iCloud, NFC, Apple Home, Live Activities, Watch and widgets depend on Apple services, permissions, connectivity and compatible hardware. Use manual tap when another method is unavailable.

Reliability

Always check the property directly when safety matters. No reminder, receipt or accessory report creates physical certainty.
