Carrylist does not collect your data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no behavioral tracking and no third-party software development kit in the app. Nobody at Carrylist can see your children's names, your bags or your routines.
Your lists are stored on your own device. If you subscribe and invite another adult, they are also stored in your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit, and shared with the adult you invited. That data sits in Apple's infrastructure under your Apple Account, not on a Carrylist server. Carrylist does not operate a server that holds your lists, and cannot read them.
Carrylist stores the names you enter, bags and their contents, destinations, departure times, routines and date changes. It also records who packed items, claimed bags or confirmed they left. Identifiers connect these records to your household and its members. Pictures chosen for children and items are emoji characters. Carrylist does not store photographs.
When you photograph a supply list, the text is recognized on your device using Apple's Vision framework. The photograph is not uploaded, not stored, and is discarded once the words have been read from it. Check the words and select the items you want. They are added to a bag when you tap Add.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Carrylist never sees your payment details. The app uses verified purchase records to check subscription access.
Settings has a "Delete all Carrylist data" control that removes your lists from the device and from the shared iCloud record. Deleting the app also removes its local data. To remove what is held in your own iCloud account, use Settings on your device. Tap your Apple Account, then iCloud, then Manage Storage.
Carrylist is used by adults to organize things for children. It has no accounts for children, no messaging, no social features and no content directed at children inside the app.
